Our strawberries are carefully sourced from the fourth-generation Landry Poche’ farm, situated in Springfield, just a short distance from the city of Ponchatoula, renowned for its Strawberry Festival. Landry-Poché Farm.

Until recently Hardhide lived in the middle of downtown Ponchatoula! She now resides back home with her owners the Klieberts.  A portion of Hardhide Strawberry Whiskey’s profits are donated to the under construction, Kliebert Wildlife Sanctuary. Our company is the sponsor of the newly created Gator Exhibit.

In addition, Hardhide also has become a sponsor of the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival. The Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival’s money primarily supports local non-profit organizations and the local community. The festival’s proceeds are used for scholarships, local schools, food banks, and other community initiatives. Many booths at the festival are run by non-profits who use the funds generated to support their work.

Hardhide sources its peaches from Durbin Farms Market in Chilton County, Alabama. Since 1961, this farm has been a beloved name, offering the juiciest and most succulent peaches across the southeast.

Hardhide Peach Whiskey contributes annually to the Toups Family Meal, organized by Amanda and James Beard Award-winning Chef Isaac Toups. The Toups Family Meal initiative provides meals to families facing food insecurity in Orleans Parish.
